Terms of use.
This page contains starter terms for the Ride with Bow website and private ride service. These terms should be reviewed and expanded before the full booking and payment system launches.
1. Private ride service
Ride with Bow is a private ride service operated by Potter Service. It is not Uber, Lyft, a public transit system, an ambulance, or a medical transportation provider.
2. Requests are not guaranteed
Submitting a ride request does not create a reservation or guarantee transportation. A ride is confirmed only after I accept the request and provide confirmation.
3. Backup transportation
Riders should maintain backup transportation, especially for time-sensitive trips, work, flights, appointments, and events.
4. Pricing
Displayed prices are starting estimates. Final pricing may depend on pickup distance, destination, trip length, traffic, weather, time, waiting, additional stops, and other ride details.
5. Payment
Payment requirements will be provided with the confirmed ride details. Cash payments must use exact change because I do not carry cash. Tips are optional.
6. Cancellations and changes
Cancellation, late-change, waiting, and no-show rules will be added before online booking becomes active. Confirmed rides may be subject to fees disclosed at the time of booking.
7. Passenger conduct
Passengers must behave safely and respectfully. I may decline or end service when conduct, conditions, passenger count, cargo, intoxication, threats, or other circumstances create a safety concern.
8. Passenger and cargo limits
The vehicle can carry up to six passengers, subject to safe seating and available space. Large, unsafe, prohibited, or undisclosed cargo may be refused.
9. Children and safety seats
Riders are responsible for following applicable child-restraint laws and for providing any legally required car seat or booster unless another arrangement is confirmed in writing.
10. Service interruptions
Weather, traffic, road closures, vehicle issues, emergencies, illness, or other circumstances may delay, change, or cancel service.
11. Website, portal, and app
The login, registration, request, account, and app areas are currently previews. They do not create an account, transmit a booking, or confirm a ride.
12. Updates
I may revise this website, pricing, service area, policies, availability, and these terms as the service develops.
